I began my first quilt in 1989 in order to carry on a family tradition, as my great grandmother was an avid quilter.  Little did I know that I would soon become hooked, and continue my new found hobby for over 30 years!  I pieced many, many tops that were left uncompleted because I wanted to quilt them myself, but didn't feel I could do them justice on a domestic sewing machine.  I began long-arm quilting on a hand guided Gammill Classic Plus machine in 2006, and launched Tops to Treasures Quilting Service that summer.  I have taken several quilting classes taught by nationally known teachers, and I continuously study quilting designs and techniques in order to provide you with the high quality quilting you deserve.  In 2018 I added a computerized unit (Intelliquilter) to my machine, so I now can now use the multitude of outstanding computerized designs on any quilt.  I have won numerous awards at local fairs and quilt shows.  My most exciting achievement was a third place ribbon at the 2010 AQS Paducah quilt show.  Most recently, I became a Certified Instructor for Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx, so I also teach foundation paper piecing and provide demos and trunk shows to local quilt shops and quilt guilds.  I am very proud of my achievements, and I would love to share my award-winning quilting with you as you strive to complete your quilted family heirlooms and gifts.

I am the mother of two adult children.  My son is married and the father of my first grandchild, and my daughter is a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, and coach, in a local school system.  My husband of 32 years is employed by a nationally known RV manufacturing company.  We recently move to Cassopolis, MI where I am able to quilt and teach right here in my home.
